Support Workers required based on a full-time equivalent of 35 hours per week. Salary to raise from £7.20 – £7.50 per hour as of 26 March 2017.
Support Workers Waking Nights salary is based on £8.20 per hour.
Sleep-in shift additional payment of £61.20 is given for each sleep-in completed.
Our support workers undertake an extremely important role helping the people they support, typically who are affected by mental health/autism and/or a learning disability, to feel in control of their lives.
You must have good interpersonal skills and have a confident nature. Responsibilities will include supporting a person with their communication needs, assisting people with daily tasks such as shopping and preparing meals and supporting the person to access community based services. You may be required to provide personal care, such as assisting with bathing.
Candidates must be willing to work flexibly as hours include early and late shifts including weekends, bank holidays, on-call and sleep-in-shifts. This is shared out amongst the team.
Vacancies are based in Birkenhead, Chester & Liverpool.
Previous experience is not required as training will be given
