Bank Support Workers

We are seeking to recruit Bank Support Workers (Days & Waking Nights) that will contribute to the activities of the service and be actively involved in all aspects of service users’ lives.  You will support service users to make informed choices and promote their independence. Your role will also include undertaking household tasks, personal support, planning, community activities and administration. You will work on a rota basis. 

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative, organising and prioritising your workload accordingly. 

To support you in your new role we offer a full induction and on-going Learning and Development opportunities, including Mental Health specific approaches. 

This position is subject to an enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).

The Area Manager will oversee all services, promoting the overall quality of a service that focuses on individualised focused support planning, contract management, finance, health and safety and staffing.  You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and processes are maintained and reported upon as required in a timely and effective manner.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of mental health and be able to model good practice.  He/she will be outcome focused, display leadership qualities and will be able to build a strong team.

 

We would like to hear from highly motivated individual’s with:

 

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills

  • Strategic (Planning) skills and confidence to drive the services forward
